Tours - Discovering Languedoc Wines For groups of friends, families,
couples or corporate holidays, welcome to Baronnie de
Bourgade and our wine tours “Discovering
Languedoc Wines".
Our job is to make your holiday a special one –
discover the superb wines, local dishes, beautiful countryside
and fascinating history in this authentic and undiscovered
corner of France – the Languedoc!
Informal
Wine Tours
Our wine tour is informal – you don’t have
to be a connoisseur of wines to join in. There will
be visits to vineyards and wine tastings, delicious
lunches at local restaurants and guided tours of historic
towns.
We also include a day’s “work” in
the vineyards picking grapes, bottling or pruning –
so that you can discover more about wine making - one
of the aims of our tour. There will also be time to
relax and a day for you to explore on your own, as in
the photo taken at a pavement café in Béziers.
The
tours run from Sunday through to Saturday
(six nights) for the following weeks:

Jennifer
Garfinkel Your evening meals will be
prepared by Jennifer Garfinkel. Jennifer trained in
San Francisco under well known American chef, Ron Siegel.
Her diverse culinary career includes working as the
head pastry chef at a 4 star restaurant in San Francisco,
a personal chef in Seattle and as a caterer in both
New Orleans and France. The varied and delicious cuisine
of southern France’s Languedoc-Roussillon region
will be highlighted.
Accommodation
We have four beautiful holiday homes at Bourgade:
La Bergerie, (5 double/twin bedrooms), La
Tour and Les Pins (3 double/twin
bedrooms each) and The Loft (2 double/twin
bedrooms).
There are separate
washing and cooking facilities in each of the houses
and a private garden. The majority of our bedrooms
have en-suite showers and/or bathroom and some with
en-suite WC’s also. You can choose which bedroom
you would like from the tables below.
